A Joint Meeting of the Board of Directors of Florida Cemetery Funeral and Cremation Association and Florida Funeral Directors was held on April 7 in Orlando.  The purpose of the meeting was to hear the results of both associations’ consolidation committees and to consider their recommendations.  Following the committees’ presentation, both Boards met separately to discuss their recommendation and then each Board voted unanimously to recommend approval of the merger to their respective members.
